Indian Springs Country Club prides itself on having one of the best racquet facilities in Oklahoma. Our members-only club facilitates programs for players of all ages and levels. A total of 12 tennis courts are available for play, including eight outdoor hard courts and four indoor courts, as well as four outdoor pickleball courts. We can also easily convert our indoor tennis courts into a pickleball court for your needs, which means we play racquet sports all year long, rain or snow, cold or hot.  Our Director of Racquet Sports, Logan Palenske, and his talented staff of teaching professionals provide a wide variety of tennis opportunities for everyone including lessons, clinics, leagues, mixers, tournaments, and junior programs. The tennis staff also provides assistance in setting up doubles and singles matches for members, as well as providing adult and senior men’s and women’s leagues.

If you are looking for an active and fun racquet-sports environment, then Indian Springs is the place for YOU!

Meet our Racquet Sports Staff

Craig was raised and learned to play tennis in East London, a small coastal city in South Africa. After completing high school, he accepted a tennis scholarship to Oral Roberts University, where he competed as an NCAA Division I athlete for 4 years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, he returned to ORU to attend business school and was the assistant Men’s and Women’s tennis coach for 3 years under legendary hall of fame coach Bernis Duke, where he helped lead the teams to two Mid Continent conference championships.

After earning an MBA, he worked primarily in corporate settings. However, throughout the years, Craig has always remained closely connected to his sporting roots. He has significant experience in strength and conditioning across multiple modalities, is a USPTA certified tennis coach and is also a Sport Psychology Consultant with a Master’s degree in Sport Counseling. His tailored approach to coaching shows that he understands for a player’s full potential to be unlocked, their training methodology must reflect their current mental, physical, technical, and experiential state. As a result of this guiding philosophy, he is excited to be developing a number of sport science programs targeted initially at our junior athletes but eventually at our adult members as well.

Craig has been married to his wife Tracey (a fellow South African whom he met at ORU) for 27 years. They have a daughter Michaela and son Gabriel, and have been members of Indian Springs Country Club for 12 years.

As Broken Arrow native, Eric played Junior tennis at Indian Springs and played doubles all four years at Broken Arrow High School, finishing as a runner up his senior year. He is a 9.0 USTA Mixed Doubles Champion and has been a teaching professional since 2014. Eric is married to Kendra and they have 3 children--Grant, Sloane and Cole.
